Creative Memories StoryBook Creator Plus Software Program for your Digital Scrapbooking Projects:
Torn Page Effect

Creative Memories StoryBook Creator Plus Software Program for your Digital Scrapbooking Projects
Creating a Torn Page Effect:
I have been asked by many people how they can create a "torn" page look on their digital scrap book pages using the StoryBook Creator Plus software program.  Although there is no actual tool to create this effect (but it will be coming in the future), there are a couple of ways you can achieve this look.

Torn embellishments are available in some Digital Kits. The embellishments can be placed on the page and the color of the embellishment can be changed. Torn embellishments can be found in the Daily Inspiration, Give Thanks, Great Escapes, Recipe Book, Starry Night and Preppy Patterns kits. Creative Memories does not otherwise offer a tool to create a torn paper edge. These are a download, so once you purchase them you will receive a link on your receipt and via email.  You just click on the link and download the kit and you will be off and running!  (For further details see the “Digital Download” Instructions posted on my web site under ‘My Files”.  This will walk you through the process of adding the digital kits, digital power palettes or digital additions to your StoryBook Creator Plus program.)

Another option is to select the custom option from the Tools tab and simulate a paper tear by using the forward (/) and backward (\) slash keys to create a jagged pattern: /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/. The finishing step is to simply erase the shaded area.  There are more detailed instructions on my web site under the training tab.  There are so many great information/training options under this tab.  Take a look, they are their for your use at no cost.
